About the free scan
The scan checks publicly observable signals on a URL you supply and scores them against a published rubric. It reports only what it actually checked, and the rubric is on the page so you can see how every point was awarded.
It is an automated check, not an audit and not professional advice. A high score does not guarantee rankings or AI citations, and a low score does not mean a site is broken. Scan only sites you own or are authorised to test.
- Results are cached for 15 minutes per domain and are shareable by URL, treat a result link as public.
- The live crawler-fetch check reports what a server returns to a request identifying as an AI crawler. It cannot prove how a verified crawler is treated, and we say so in the result.
- We rate-limit scans. Automated or bulk use is not permitted.
Content and liability
Articles and guides here are published in good faith and cited to their sources. Search and AI systems change constantly; we correct things we get wrong and note the change rather than quietly editing.
The site is provided as-is. We are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of a free automated score or a published article. Nothing here creates a client relationship, that starts with a signed proposal.
